Half Dome at Sunset

I would like to tell you that I hiked for hours to capture this magnificent image of Half Dome, but I can't. Actually, I was in Yosemite Valley, driving to dinner at the Ahwanee Hotel when I came across this vista. Half Dome is captured here at sunset from the lush meadow sitting at its feet. Pure luck. Twenty minutes earlier and I wouldn't have seen the great shadows of the other peaks on Half Dome itself. Twenty minutes later and the whole scene would have been in shadow. As in much of life, timing is everything. Dinner could wait.

How to understand print dimensions.Since all images don't have the same ratio, I express it as a range. When a size is quoted as 20x24/30, it means that the small dimension will be 20 inches and the long dimension will range from about 24 inches to 30 inches depending on the ratio of the image.
