Old Lisbon

I don't know what it is. There's something soothing about this image of the rooftops of Old Lisbon. The geometry, the textures, and the wash or orange across the whole scene. Maybe it's because I know that it's a European capital not overrun with tourists. A really charming place. There's a detail in this scene that I really like. A blue soccer ball on the roof near the center. It's another one of those elements that suggests something unseen. Out of the frame or at a different time. A soccer game that ended abruptly. One more thing to contemplate.
